Arm/Disarm Switch: Procedures

Transport Mode, Deactivating

‹› The transport assures that the vehicle will start.

‹› The transport mode limits the draw on the battery by switching off the consumers.

‹› All vehicle functions, which are unnecessary during transport and do not draw any current are switched off to conserve battery power.

‹› Among these are all vehicle functions, which could be misused and could drain the battery.

‹› Examples for these are radios, doors and components which are moved electronically as well as the anti-theft alarm system which could be

activated during transport.

Connect the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester.

Switch ignition on.

Select Vehicle Self-Diagnosis.

If the displays indicated in the procedure are not shown on the display, refer to Operating Instructions for Vehicle Diagnosis Tester

Select grouped services

-

Select switch off transport mode.

The transport is now switched off.

End Adaptation

-

Select Go to and press End.

-

Turn off ignition.

‹› The Vehicle Diagnosis Tester must remain connected for other tests.
