Arm/Disarm Switch: Removal and Replacement

Interior Monitoring Deactivation Switch (E267) and Vehicle Inclination Sensor Deactivation Button (E360)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

‹› The anti-theft alarm system must be deactivated to remove the interior monitoring deactivation switch. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Alarm System,

‹› When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( ( VAS 3409),

screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

‹› The interior monitoring deactivation switch is located in the B-pillar trim on the driver side.

Removing:

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

Carefully pry out the interior monitoring deactivation switch-  1 - using the (VAS 3409) or a screwdriver.

Release and disconnect the connector - arrow - and remove the switch.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
