Installing:

CAUTION!
When disconnecting and connecting battery, the procedure must be followed as described in the Repair Information. Refer to => [
Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Tools and Equipment/Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting. 

CAUTION!
If battery is not secured properly, the following risks are possible: 

‹› Shortened battery service life due to vibration damage (explosion hazard). 

‹› Damage to battery plates.

‹› Damage to battery casing caused by bracket (possible electrolyte leakage, high subsequent costs).

‹› Inadequate crash safety.

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Mount the clamping plate - 2 -, facing the drive direction, into the second notch in the battery case and tighten the mounting screw - 1 -.

Tighten the threaded connections to the specification given in the assembly overview, refer to => [ Battery Overview ] See: Battery Overview.

After installing, verify battery is properly seated.

Reconnect battery, refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Tools and Equipment/Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
