Pull ignition switch key lock solenoid - 1 - in direction of arrow out of its mount.

During this, harness connector is simultaneously disconnected.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

‹› To activate the ignition switch key lock solenoid after connecting the battery, perform an output DTM on the steering column electronic systems

control module.
