Remove the circlip - 1 - from the stub shaft.

Carefully drive the stub shaft out - 2 - in the - direction of the arrow - using a plastic hammer.

Remove the stub shaft seal on the transmission side.
Installing
Outer Seal

Fill the space - arrow - between the sealing lip and dust lip of the new seal halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).
