Front Seat Height Inclination Drive Motor

Removing

-

Remove belt anchor --> [ Belt Anchor ] See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt Systems/Seat Belt/Service and Repair/Belt Anchor

-

Position seat as far up as possible using height adjustment.

-

Remove 12-way seat --> [ Front Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Front Seats/Front Seat

-

Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

-

Secure 12-way seat on fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

-

Remove connector - 3 - from seat inclination adjustment  drive motor - 2 -.

-

Remove bolt - 1 - (20 Nm).

‹› When removing screws - 4 - and - 5 -,  seat inclination adjustment drive motor - 2 - must be secured  against falling down.

-

Remove two bolts - 4 - and - 5 - (12  Nm) respectively.

-

Remove drive motor from seat longitudinal adjuster.
