Exhaust manifold

‹› Cylinder bank 2 (left).

‹› Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Left Exhaust Manifold ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Manifold/Service

and Repair/Left Exhaust Manifold.

Gasket

‹› Replace

Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 (G108) (in  front of catalytic converter)

‹› For cylinder bank 2 (left).

‹› Component location, refer to --> [ Oxygen Sensors Cylinder Bank 2 Location ] 

‹› Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste.

‹› When reusing oxygen sensor, coat threads with hot bolt paste;.

‹› Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not get onto slots of sensor  body.

‹› Tighten to 55 Nm.

    Primary catalytic converter

‹› For cylinder bank 2, left side of vehicle.

‹› With flex joint

‹› Do not bend the de-coupling element more than 10 degrees or it could  be damaged.

‹› Protect from shocks and impact stress.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Left Primary Catalytic Converter ] See: Emission Control Systems/Catalytic Converter/Service and

Repair/Left Primary Catalytic Converter. 

‹› Install exhaust system free of stress, refer to --> [ Exhaust System, Installing ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Exhaust System, Installing.

‹› Left side bracket, refer to --> [ Primary Converter Bracket, Left Side ]

Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 2 behind Three Way Catalytic Converter  (TWC) (G131)

‹› For cylinder bank 2 (left).

‹› Component location, refer to --> [ Oxygen Sensors Cylinder Bank 2 Location ] 

‹› Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste.

‹› when reusing oxygen sensor, coat threads with hot bolt paste; hot  bolt paste.

‹› Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not get onto slots of sensor  body.

‹› Tighten to 55 Nm.
