Fuel Rail and Injector Assembly Overview

The opened fuel system is shown in this assembly overview. Therefore: 

CAUTION!
‹› Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system,  pressure must be relieved to residual pressure. Refer to --> [

Releasing Pressure on High Pressure Side ] See: Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair.

‹› Then wrap a clean cloth around the connection and relieve the residual  pressure by carefully loosening the connection.

‹› Illustration depicts left fuel rail.

Radial adjustment

‹› Replace if damaged.

‹› Clip together with support ring --> [ (Item 6) Support ring ].

Combustion chamber seal

‹› Do not grease ring or treat with any other lubricant.
