Unclip cable sleeve - 2 - from mount.

Remove clip - 1 - and unhook brake cable from cable mounting.

Unclip cable sleeve - 2 - from mount.

Lift carpet and pull out brake cable.
Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse sequence.

Remove transport protection device (drill bit) from park brake pedal.
There will be an automatic length compensation of the brake cable caused by the spring.

Check free play at park brake pedal. Refer to --> [ Park Brake Pedal, Checking Play ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.
