Engine Accessory Bracket: Service and Repair

A/C Compressor and Bracket, Engine Codes AXQ and BHX

Removing

‹› Refrigerant must be extracted before hand using e.g. A/C service  station (VAS 6007A).

‹› Observe notes, refer to --> [ Engine Compartment Refrigerant Circuit Components, 2 Zone and 4 Zone ] See: Heating and Air

Conditioning/Description and Operation/Engine Compartment Refrigerant Circuit Components, 2 Zone and 4 Zone.

‹› The tightening specification for bolts on the refrigerant lines to  the A/C compressor is 20 ± 3 Nm.

‹› Note different screw lengths.
