Remove D-pillar trim --> [ D-Pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/D-Pillar Trim.

Remove rear lock carrier cover --> [ Rear Lock Carrier Cover ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and
Repair/Rear Lock Carrier Cover

-

Remove luggage compartment floor --> [ Luggage Compartment Floor ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and
Repair/Luggage Compartment Floor.

Remove backrest:

‹› Left --> [ Left Seat Backrest ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seats

‹› Right --> [ Right Seat Backrest ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seats

-

Remove side wall trim --> [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and
Repair/Luggage Compartment Side Trim.

-

Remove the two bolts - 1 - (9 Nm).

-

Disconnect the wiring harness - 3 - from the crash  sensor - 2 -.

Installing

-

Perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

-

Switch the ignition on.

CAUTION!
Make sure that no persons are in the vehicle.
