Tighten locating pins to 30 Nm, counter hold sleeve at flats using  an open end wrench to prevent it from turning.

Position of subframe is now secured.

Removal of locating pins (T10300) is performed  in the reverse order of installation.

‹› Engine and transmission jack (VAG 1383 A)

‹› Hydraulic press (VAS 6178) with  pressure head (T10205/13)

‹› Hollow piston cylinder (VAS 6179)

‹› Tensioner hooks (VW 552)

‹› Assembly tool (T10301)

CAUTION!
Before starting work, stabilizer bars must be coupled in vehicles  with separable stabilizer bars. Otherwise, there is the danger of injury
caused  by unintentional separation.

Depressurize hydraulic system for separable stabilizer bars using.

Hook in tensioner hooks (VW 552) on  both vehicle sides in upper opening of wheel housing - arrow A - and  in upper control arm - arrow B -.
