Install the chain tensioner in this position and tighten to 8 Nm - arrow -.

If cylinder head has been removed, install it now. Refer to --> [ Cylinder Head ] See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Service and Repair/Cylinder Head.

Insert thecamshaft bar (T10068 A) into both shaft grooves.

Now guide drive chain for camshafts and high pressure pump through opening in cylinder head or cylinder head gasket from above.

Insert small drive pinion with installed chain into recess - arrow - and bolt it on hand tight.
