Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this  note the following:

-

Initiate Basic Setting function with Diagnostic Operation  System (VAS 5051B). Refer to--> [ Climatronic A/C System with Automatic Control,
Checking and Adjusting ] See: Testing and Inspection/Climatronic A/C System with Automatic Control, Checking and Adjusting.

Removing

-

Bring rear heating and air conditioning unit into service position.  Refer to --> [ Second Rear Heating and A/C Unit, Service Position ] See:
Testing and Inspection/Second Rear Heating and A/C Unit, Service Position

Disconnect connector - 1 - at Rear Blower  Regulation Motor (Bitron) (V306).

Lift tab - 2 - slightly and rotate Rear  Blower Regulation Motor (Bitron) (V306) in - direction  of arrow -.

-

Remove the Rear Blower Regulation Motor (Bitron) (V306) from the heating and air conditioning unit

Installing

Install in reverse order.

‹› Condensation water hose to valve must not be kinked or pinched. Refer  to --> [ Rear Condensation Water Hose with Valve, Checking ] See:

Evaporator Drain Tube/Testing and Inspection/Rear Condensation Water Hose with Valve, Checking.

Removing

‹› Right lower retaining plate on the A/C unit removed.

Remove bolts - 3 -.
