Removing

CAUTION!
When disconnecting and connecting the battery, always perform the  work procedure as described in the repair information --> [ Battery,
One-Battery Layout, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Battery, One-Battery Layout, Disconnecting and Connecting.  Not adhering to sequence will result in the deactivation of
Main Battery Switch  -E74- and subsequent damage to electrical system components.

Disconnect battery --> [ Battery, One-Battery Layout, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery, One-Battery Layout, Disconnecting and Connecting.

Fold up positive pole cap - 1 - and cover -  2 -.

-

Remove mounting nut - 1 - (SW 13) and remove lines -  2 - and - 5 - from connector threads.

Remove positive pole - 2 - (SW 17).

Remove screw - 4 -.
