Place steering knuckle in a suitable vise, then, using tool No. VW267a, press out lower ball joint adapter, then the upper joint.

Remove lower ball joint circlip and use a press to remove lower ball joint.

Press in upper and lower ball joints, install circlip on lower ball joint and loosely install ball joint adapter.

9.

Reverse procedure to install. Refer to Fig. 2 for torque specifications.
