Reassemble hub, cage, balls and outer ring, Fig. 5. Make sure chamfer on inside splines of ball hub, Fig. 6, and the larger diameter end on the
outer ring face in the same direction.

Ball hub can be moved back and forth if joint is assembled properly, but there should be little or no radial play.

Place concave washer against step on driveshaft and press inner hub onto shaft--make sure chamfer on inner splines of hub faces toward concave
washer.

15.

Install new circlip on shaft and squeeze with pliers until fully seated.

16.

Install shafts into vehicle. Torque 12-point socket head bolts to 33 ft. lbs. (45 Nm).
