Cause:

Residue/film found on windshield of new and/or customer owned vehicles. Smearing is most noticeable on wet windshields immediately after being
wiped by windshield wiper blade.

CAUTION Before using any chemicals or cleaning compounds, carefully read all of the cautions and medical information on the container. Always
follow all of the manufacturer's recommendations.

Note

This procedure should be followed prior to delivering new vehicles to customer.

thoroughly wash windshield and wiper blade with clean cloth soaked in a solution of alcohol or Autobahn Intensive Windshield Washer Solvent,
Part No. ZVW 177 904.

more than one washing may be required to completely remove residue.
