^ install oil pan 3, and bolts 4 Part No. N 102 429 01, Qty. 10 

^ Tighten diagonally

^ Torque: 30 N-m (22 ft.lb.)

^ refill final drive housing with hypoid oil, SAE 90, API - GL5, or Mil-L2105 B 

^ Capacity: 1.25 ltr. (1.3 US qt.)

When transmissions with date code 28011 or higher exhibit oil leakage, replace oil pan gasket only, unless other damage is noted.

^ drain oil from final drive assembly

^ remove oil pan bolts

^ remove oil pan and gasket, discard gasket

^ clean gasket fragments from oil pan and final drive housing

CAUTION

Inspect oil pan for distortion or damage. Inspect the sealing surface for gasket fragments, distortion or other damage, especially around the bolt holes.
Always replace damaged oil pans.

^ install new oil pan gasket 2 Part No. 090 507 215

^ install oil pan 3, and bolts 4

^

Tighten diagonally

^ Torque: 30 N-m (22 ft.lb.)

^ refill final drive housing with hypoid oil, SAE 90, API - CLS, or Mil-L2105 B 

^ Capacity: 1.25 ltr. (1.3 US qt.)
