THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO THE U.S. AND CANADA.
A new fuel gauge sender, P/N 1367253-0, was introduced in production during the beginning of October 1985. This new sender supersedes previous
version fuel gauge sender, P/N 1312419. When replacing previous type sender with new version, you must modify the fuel return line.

SPECIAL TOOL:
sender wrench 9995169-1
Work Procedure

Loosen fuel cap to relieve residual pressure in fuel tank

Remove old sender with wrench 5169
-
Install new fuel gauge sender. Use
a new seal.

Cut fuel return line at fitting (see inset).

Install fuel hose between fuel line and sender.

Secure hose at each end with hose clamps
-
Tighten fuel cap, start engine, and check for leaks.
