Increased oil fill quantity - improved lubrication

The oil fill quantity on M47 gearboxes has been increased from 1.3 liters (1.4 qts) to 1.55 liters (1.6 qts) to improve lubrication.
NOTE:

When checking/filling the transmission oil level, ensure that the oil is even with the threads of the filler plug hole.
New oil recommendations

The recommended oil for all manual gearboxes is:

ATF, type F

CAUTION: DO NOT USE: ATF, DEXRON
