and the outer side of the bearing. Pack the inside of the hub evenly to a depth equal to the inside diameters of the races. Use approved bearing grease,
P/N 1161241-3.
Install the inner bearing and seal
Place the inner bearing in the hub. Press in the grease seal with drift 5005 and driver 1801, making sure that the seal seats fully and squarely.
Press the sealing ring (1) onto the stub axle until the ring bottoms
Check that the sealing ring is not fitted at an angle and that the cone faces inwards.
Install the hub, outer bearing, washer and castle nut.
Fit the brake caliper
Use new retaining bolts. Tightening torque: 100 N-m (74 ft.lbs.).
