Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair

Sunroof cables, replacement 
 
 
To remove cables: 

Remove sunroof, and wind deflector, if installed.  See: Sunroof / Moonroof Panel/Service and Repair

Remove side spacer strips

Remove front cover strip

Remove holders above crank assembly.

Remove outer screws from front rail. Pull out cables from side rails.

 
 
To install new cables: 

Insert cables into rails, make sure that the rear sunroof attachments are opposite each other.
