Disconnect/Remove:
1. Disconnect the fan shroud and move it out of the way.
2. Loosen alternator belts
3. Loosen the alternator mounting bolt and the clamp bolt.
4. Remove the Fan:
NOTE: There are 3 different types of fans:
-
fixed fan
-
temperature-controlled clutch-type fan
-
clutch-type fan
5. Remove fan shroud.
6. Remove timing gear casing.
7. Remove lower radiator hose from coolant pump.

Remove Water Pump:
1. Loosen return pipe at coolant pump:
