Remove nut securing cable to field coil. Remove securing bolts from solenoid.
J5 Starter motor body
Remove body from armature and drive end bearing housing.
J6 Armature
Remove:
1. rubber and steel washers
2. shift arm securing bolt
3. armature and shift arm
J7 Stop ring
