The old windshield frame can be used instead of foil templates.
Warning!
When drilling, protective eyewear should be worn.
Drilling holes with a conical drill

Position the transparent template (or old windshield
frame) on the new windshield frame.

Mark out the holes

Drill guide holes.

Ream holes to (diameter) 30 mm (1-3/16") using a conical drill.
Do not use a hole saw!

File off holes before painting.
