Pulleys With Align Marks
1. Set camshaft and crankshaft according to markings:

Use center bolt to rotate crankshaft. Set camshaft so that marking on pulley is opposite marking on valve cover.
2. Remove pulley from crankshaft.
Timing Belt Removal
4. Remove timing belt:
-
Slacken belt tensioner nut approx. one turn.
-
Pull on timing belt to depress tensioner spring.
-
Retighten nut.
-
Remove timing belt.
CAUTION: Do not rotate crankshaft or camshaft. Pistons may strike valves.
