The control valve sensor head is inserted in a cutout in the floor vent.

Remove:

-

battery negative lead.

-

sound insulating and side panel on RH side.

-

defroster hose.

-

floor vent.

Turn floor mat down. Put water tray underneath.

Note:  For new version heater control valve and 1992 models onwards:

Install hose pliers on input and output hoses from heater matrix. Now undo hoses from heater matrix. Undo control wire from control valve.

Now go to step C10.
