A new type of O-ring has been introduced after the following chassis numbers:

The O-rings are made of a new material and are designed for a longer service life. These rings are easily recognized by their blue color.

In the event of an A/C System malfunction which results from a main component failure (A/C Hose, Compressor, etc.) inspection of the accompanying
A/C "O" Rings to that component should be made. If the "O" Rings are of the old (black in color), replacement of all remaining "O" Rings to the new
style (blue in color) should be performed. the attached identifies all original locations.

Note! O-rings must be well lubricated before assembly.

If necessary, replace Schraeder valve at the compressor (see SB 87-202)
