Position the new seat, guiding the lug into the drain hole. Firmly tap the seat into position.

Weld the new seat to the support ring at two points according to the illustration. Both welds should be approximately 10 mm (3/8") long.
9.
Spray rust proofing component onto the new seat and around the welded section.
10.
Refit shock absorber etc. according to Service Manual Section 6 (61).
