INSTALL COUPLING FLANGE
Use press tool 5156 to install flange, prevent shaft moving with 5149.
REMOVE PRESS TOOL AND INSTALL NEW NUT
Tighten nut in step until the correct torque is achieved.
Turn pinion until rollers are centralized and torque stabilized. Use torque wrench 9177.
Refer to instructions at bottom of page 2.
If bearing pre-load is higher than specified, fit a new compression sleeve and tighten to torque.
CHECKING PINION POSITION
Tolerance:
+ 0.05 mm
