Outside mirror, new glass mounting
The new mounting for outside rearview mirrors changes the method for replacing the mirror glass.
MIRROR GLASS REPLACEMENT
WARNING:
Wear safety glasses and gloves.
Removal:

Pivot the glass by pressing gently at an outer comer of the glass. Insert your fingers behind the lifted edge of the glass. With your fingers as far in and
as close to the index pins as possible, carefully press glass straight out.

Disconnect electrical contact for heated mirror elements.
Installation:
-
Connect electrical contact.
-
Locate mirror element's mounting pins into holes of the rotation unit.

Carefully press the element home. Check that mirror element is firmly in place.
