240 L4-2320cc 2.3L SOHC B23F FI (1983)
- Unhook the retaining spring (use a pair of brake spring pliers) and remove the brake shoes.
- Press out the lock pin that secures the cable to the lever.
- Remove screw (1) and withdraw cable (2) and plastic collar (3) along with the rubber seal.
- Pull out the complete cable from the center support and the grommet in the floor panel.
Installation
- Insert the plastic collar through the bracket and fit the rubber seal.
- Route the cable through the center support and the grommet in the floor panel.
Note! The cable from the left hand wheel should be inserted through the hole to the right of the propeller shaft and vice versa. In addition the cable
from the left hand wheel should be under the one from the right hand wheel when they cross at the center support.
- Route the cable through the plastic tube and secure it to the bracket.
