Standard Heater Removal

Note:  Earlier models have three different ways of installing the heat control valve. A, B and C. See below. From 1992 models, there was a new kind
of valve. This affects the procedure for removing and installing the heater.

If the heat control valve is of the new design, the first steps to follow are C1 - and C2. Then follow instructions.

Version A

The control valve sensor head is inserted between the two halves of the heater housing and attached to the cell system with clips.

Version B (converted).

The control valve sensor head is removed and installed via a hole in the LH heater housing.

Version C (converted). Standard on later models, up to and including 1992.
