240 L4-2320cc 2.3L SOHC B23F FI (1983)
Disconnect connector from LH Electronic Control Unit by depressing lock spring and swing out connector.
IMPORTANT! Ignition must be switched OFF when disconnecting or connecting connector.
Use 150 mm (6") long wire.
Affix wire connector at one end of wire.
Wire:
150 mm (6" of wire P/N 954 427-1)
Wire connector:
P/N 946 640-0
Connect the new wire to the Electronic Control Unit connector and harness as follows:
Remove cover from connector and cover plates above PIN terminal.
Insert wire connector in to the open slot at PIN 19. Use Scotchlock connector to connect other end of wire to black wire out of PIN 11, in the harness as
shown. Install cover plates, and connector cover.
Reconnect connector to LH Control Unit. Reassemble panels.
