1991, -92 models
Connect connectors
-
11-pin white engine harness connector (C)
-
4-pin white ABS connector (D)
-
1-pin black connector (E) for lamp
-
1-pin black connector (F) for overdrive
-
1-pin white connector (G) for gear indicator.
Note:
Connectors for lamp (E) and overdrive (F) should remain connected if the car does not have overdrive.
1993 models
Connect connectors
-
24-pin white engine harness connector (H)
-
5-pin black indicator unit connector (I)
-
2-pin blue connector (J) for reversing light contact
-
2-pin black connector (K) for start inhibitor contact

INSTALLATION OF REMOVED COMPONENTS
Install:
-
wiring harness and connectors so that they do not chafe or make any noise.
-
foam insulation on connector to avoid rattling.
-
strip clamps for securing wiring harness.
-
components in reverse order.
Checks and remedies
Check and remedy in case of fault:
-
electric operation and reset radio code.
-
that interference when listening to tapes is gone. - that other noise (squeaking, rattling etc) has not started due to the new position of the wiring
harness.
