Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair
Automatic Transmission
NOTE: Special Tools Required: 1801, 5111, 5112, 5276.
Flywheel With Tool # 5112
1. Remove drive plate:

Use gear sector 5112 to lock drive plate when removing bolts.
Oil Seal Removal
2. Remove rear oil seal:
-
Use a screwdriver to pry out oil seal. Be careful not to damage sealing surfaces on holder or crankshaft.
CAUTION: Note seal position in relation to sealing flange so correct position is known when installing new seal.
