- Insert memory cassette.
- Connect the Volvo Diagnostic key ST to the DLC.
- Ignition on.
Search for text "A2 FUEL SYSTEM: Press * ".
or
Search for text "A6 IGNITION SYSTEM: Press * ".
Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) 1
Search for the text "Mode 1: Diagnosis Press * "in diagrams X or Y.
- Press according to the adjacent diagram.
- Read off all DTCs.
- Make a note of all the DTCs.
-Continue with Deleting DTCs CA3.

Deleting Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
Look for the text "Del. FUEL SYSTEM Press * "in accordance with diagram X or "Del IGNITION SYSTEM Press * " in accordance with diagram Y.
