If the reading is 0 OHMS:
-Check the wiring for grounding.

Checking The Wiring And The Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve Resistance.
- Connect the AC valve.
-Ignition off.
Connect an ohmmeter between #33 and #9.
The ohmmeter should read approx. 8 OHMS.
If this value Is OK:
Check the IAC valve control EM6.
If the reading is Incorrect:
Check the wiring between the IAC valve and #33 on the control module for contact resistance or breaks.

Checking The Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve Control.
-Connect the control module to the test box.
-Connect the IAC valve.
-Put back the fuse you took out.
-Start the engine and let it idle.
Connect a voltmeter between #33 and #5.
The voltmeter should read 7-10 V.
If this value Is OK:
Intermittent fault.
-Check the connections for loose contacts.
