-Clean fuel connections carefully before dismantling them.
Gaskets, Seals
-Always use new gaskets and seals when a connection has been dismantled.
BB. Cars with SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) Airbag
WARNING:
Cars fitted with SRS must be treated with extra care when they are being repaired. This is to avoid:
1. Personal injury when repairs are being carried out.
2. Damage to or faults occurring in the SRS.
3.If in doubt always read the SRS manual.
Is the car fitted with SRS?
Cars with SRS are most easily identified by the letters SRS on the center of the steering wheel.
Dashboard Or Around The Steering Column Covers.
Take care not to pinch, scrape or screw into wiring when working on the sound insulation firewall, knee protection, the ignition switch or the steering
column covers.
Driver Seat, Mid-console Or Carpet On The Driver's Side.
The SRS collision sensor is beneath the driver seat. The connector to the sensor must never be disconnected. Never install accessories at the sensor.
Steering And Front Suspension
When working on the steering wheel, steering column or steering gear certain procedures must be carried out. If the steering wheel is turned
more than 3 turns in either direction the contact pulley will be damaged!
