6. Check that terminal contacts have been pushed down evenly in connector.
7. If any connectors have been pushed down to far, poor connection may result.
Checking Battery Supply
8. Check main power supply by connecting a voltmeter between pin 5 (red) in ECU connector and ground.
Reading: approx. 12 volts
9. If no voltage registers, check wire between ECU and in-line fuse on left suspension strut tower. Check fuse and wiring to battery (incl. battery
terminals). Repair as necessary.
Fuel Injection, Ignition Control Unit (ECU) And System Relay

Access fuel injection ECU by removing the passenger side kick panel and glove compartment.

Check fuel injection ECU ground connections. They should make good contact and fit tight.
Disconnecting ECU Connector

Remove ECU connector by pressing up the latch and folding out the wire cluster.
