Intake Air Duct: Description and Operation
The intake air hoses lead the air from the air mass meter to the throttle body. This connection must be air tight from outside air, so no unmetered air
by-passes the air mass meter. Unmetered air can cause a lean condition in the combustion process and damage the engine.
