Note:
On completion of checking/adjustment, recheck that clearance between cable and arm is approx. 1.5 mm (0.06 in.) as per A12.

Install:           A15

instrument and panels on both sides

carpet

center console panel

insulation under instrument panel

knee bolster. Tighten bolts to 8 N-m (6 ft.lb)

Install gear selector housing and override button    A16

Check clearance between override button lever and key lock arm on gear selector mechanism.

Move gear selector lever to position P and turn ignition key to position 0. Override button lever must not be in contact with key lock arm, otherwise
cable will be tensioned. Adjust housing to correct as required (see A18).
