Remove both the left and right sway bar clamps.

4.

Remove the braces (1) and bushings (2). Save the braces (1), clamps (3) and assembly bolts (4).

5.

Install new bushings (2A) (P/N 9131955-8).

Ensure that the brace (1) retaining flange is facing inboard and that the bushing lug (2B) is fully seated in the brace bottom slot.

6.

Reinstall the sway bar brackets (3) using the existing assembly bolts (4).

Torque:
48 N-m (35 ft.lbs.)

NOTE:
The sway bar mounting bracket has a slightly thicker, raised flange on one side of the bottom (U-shaped bend). Position the bracket with this thicker
flange facing inboard.

7.

Reinstall the splash guard.

CAUTION:
Do not overtighten splash guard mounting screws. Overtightening could crack the guard.

8.

Lower the vehicle.
