Accumulator: Service and Repair
Accumulator Pistons Removal
1. Remove valve body assembly. Do not forget to use retainer P/N 5076.
2. Lift out accumulator pistons. Remove retainer P/N 5076 first. If pistons are difficult to remove, they can be dislodged by applying compressed air
(max 14 psi) to feed hole (arrows).
NOTE: Note location of springs. BW55: C2 piston does not have spring on some transmissions.
3. Clean and check pistons. Replace if worn or damaged.
