Oil Pump: Service and Repair

    Removing the oil pump requires removal of oil pan which requires removal of engine. Refer to ``Engine, Replace'' procedure. 
    The triangular mark on pump outer gear, Fig. 8, must face rear oil pump cover. If oil pressure is incorrect, make sure relief valve plunger slides freely
in oil pump bore and inspect spring. As separate parts are not available, oil pump must be serviced as an assembly.
