Install the hose pliers on the cell system input hose.

Undo hoses with the pliers.

Remove heat control valve sensor head from heater housing. Pull straight out carefully.

Leave control valve sitting in bracket.
From C1O onwards, the procedure is the same as for versions A, B and C and the new design.
For the new design and 1992 models, follow the procedure as far as C30.
