Undo control wires and sheath to floor and defroster vents.

Remove screws in firewall to upper mounting. Then allow mounting to come out as well when lowering heater.

Remove heater to the right:

With version A, the control valve and sensor head will come out along with the heater.

With versions B and C, the control valve stays in its bracket.

Before installing, check that air intake seal is intact and correctly positioned in its seat.
