The problem could be the voltage stabilizer or the gauge. Check the deflection of both gauges, if they are both incorrect the fault lies with the
voltage stabilizer. If only one gauge shows incorrect, the problem is with the gauge.
^ No deflection on the gauge at all:
If the circuit is complete, the gauge is defective.
CHECKING THE AUXILIARY TANK SENSOR
Disconnect connectors at the fuel tank and measure the resistance across the white-gray wires.
Auxiliary tank full = 1 ohm
Auxiliary tank empty = 18 ohms
If infinite resistance is recorded, remeasure at the sensor terminals (broken wire)
Resistance not as specified (1-18 ohms) indicates a defective sensor.
