Temperature Sensor Connector

If an owner of a 1985 ACC-EQUIPPED VEHICLE complains that the system occasionally goes from Air Conditioning to heat, the most common cause
is the electrical connection from the in-car temperature sensor. This connection is located behind the glove box, which must be removed to make the
following repair.

NOTE:

Eliminating this connector is the most dependable answer to avoid repeat repairs. The connector should be cut from the wires and the
corresponding wires connected directly together with a crimp-on connector or a scotch-lock connector.

The drawing below shows the connector in question.
